CWLC urges signature on SB 1375, introduced by Senator Jackson. This bill would require all schools receiving federal funding to post the name and contact information of their Title IX Coordinator on their website. SB 1375 would also require the posting of other important Title IX information on the school’s website, including (1) the rights of students and the public under Title IX, (2) the responsibilities of the school under Title IX, and (3) a description of how to file a complaint under Title IX. It would additionally require the State Superintendent of Public Instruction to electronically send an annual letter to all schools notifying them of this responsibility.
