This bill, introduced by Assemblymembers Santiago and Gonzalez, will ensure children can remain in child care for as long as their families need it, allowing parents to continue working. By relaxing the unrealistic reporting rules currently in place and bringing California into compliance with federal law, AB 60 will promote stability for California’s children and families.
