The California Women’s Law Center (CWLC) supports California State Assembly Bill 1522 authored by Assemblymember Lorena Gonzalez.

AB 1522 will guarantee a minimum of three paid sick days per year to all California workers.

CWLC supports AB 1522 because this paid sick days legislation will improve productivity, protect vulnerable employees in low-income industries and support public health by preventing the spread of communicable diseases.

AB 1522 WAS SIGNED BY THE GOVERNOR ON 9/10/14.
