The California Women’s Law Center and UC Irvine School of Law Professor Michele Goodwin presented an important webinar about the U.S. Supreme Court’s recent NIFLA v. Becerra decision regarding California’s FACT Act. The webinar addressed the reasons the FACT Act was implemented, its application to “crisis pregnancy centers” in California, and the Supreme Court’s ruling that the Act is likely unconstitutional. They also discussed the future of reproductive rights in California and beyond in the wake of the decision.
