As part of our advocacy strategy, CWLC often shares our expertise through official public comments to government agencies. By monitoring and responding to a wide range of proposals that could harm or benefit women and girls at the federal level, we engage in national policy conversations and advocate for gender equality and justice.
Every year, CWLC advocates for the passage of numerous state bills and budget items. We are proud to have helped advance laws that protect employees from discrimination and harassment, secure women’s access to reproductive health care, narrow the gender pay gap, and provide justice to victims of sexual assault, among other things.
