LEGAL INTERNSHIPS: We encourage law school students to apply for an internship with us. Internship opportunities are available during fall, spring, and summer sessions. Applications for each term are accepted on a rolling basis, but applications for the upcoming Summer Term must be received by Feb. 1st; Fall Term by August 1st; and Spring Term by Nov. 1st.

If you are interested in serving as a legal intern with CWLC, please email your cover letter, resume, transcript, and writing sample to cwlc@cwlc.org and use “Legal Intern Applicant” and the session desired (e.g., fall or spring) in the subject line.

UNDERGRADUATE SUMMER INTERNSHIP: CWLC is seeking a Communications Intern for Summer 2026 to support and help manage our communication strategy during a particularly active period of programming and outreach. This role will involve assisting with content creation, social media management, messaging development, and overall communications coordination. If you are interested, please see the job description below and send a cover letter, resume, and an optional portfolio to cwlc@cwlc.org with the subject line “CWLC Communications Application 2026.”

FELLOWSHIPS: CWLC is pleased to invite applications for sponsorship of a fellowship opportunity, such as Skadden, Equal Justice Works, Justice Catalyst, or any other comparable fellowships, for the two-year period beginning in September 2026. This fellowship offers recent law school graduates the opportunity to gain experience in litigation, direct legal services, community education, policy advocacy, and broader public interest legal practice. CWLC will collaborate with the selected candidate to develop a compelling fellowship proposal and provide support throughout the application process. If you are interested in applying for a fellowship, please see the fellowship announcement below.

VOLUNTEERS: As a legal support center, CWLC engages volunteers occasionally throughout the year at events and for other special projects. If you are interested in volunteering with us, we encourage you to subscribe to our email list to stay up-to-date on opportunities to get involved. We also invite you to attend an upcoming event to learn more about CWLC and the issues we prioritize.
