Assembly Bill 1676 (Campos) – Eliminating the Discriminatory Impact of Prior Salaries

The California Women’s Law Center supports AB 1676, introduced by Senator Campos, which would clarify under the Equal Pay Act that an employee’s prior salary cannot be the basis for any disparity in compensation when compared to a co-worker of the opposite sex who is doing substantially similar work.
