Housing Barriers: Housing Rights and Protections for Domestic Violence Survivors

Survivors of domestic and sexual violence face a number of housing issues related to acts of violence committed against them. This training will cover the rights and protections available to survivors of domestic violence including applicable state and federal laws, and will discuss recent changes to the Violence Against Women Act (VAWA) protections.

This training will serve as a primer for attorneys interested in learning more about the laws in place intended to improve domestic violence survivors’ safety and help protect them from eviction.
