Legal Director Elizabeth Kristen and Project Counsel Kim Turner put on a training for staff at legal aid nonprofits and related stakeholders to learn the basics of Title IX to ensure gender equity in federally-funded K-12 educational athletics contexts, with a focus on intersectional equity, easy-to-apply tools, and updates on the rapidly-shifting enforcement landscape.

The Legal Aid Association of California (LAAC) approved and hosted this training and is an approved multi-activity MCLE provider (Provider #2303).
