International Women’s Day – March 8, 2017

Today is International Women’s Day, and the California Women’s Law Center (CWLC) asks you to join us in supporting women and girls everywhere and to #BeBoldForChange!

International Women’s Day (IWD) is a collective day of global celebration but also a call for gender parity. IWD honors the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women around the world. But the unfortunate fact is that women are still not paid equally to their male counterparts, women are still not present in equal numbers in business or politics, and globally women’s education, health and physical safety are threatened every day.

CWLC firmly believes that we all can do our part, big or small, to help create positive change for women and girls everywhere. We are dedicated to fighting for equality through impact litigation, policy advocacy and education training. Join us in working to ensure that the future for girls is bright, equal and safe. Today and every day, #BeBoldForChange!
